Import Result Data via Local File

NOTE: This feature requires a Data Connection subscription option. For info on how to add a Data Connection to your subscription, see the Subscription Management article.

DrugPak's Result Import feature is most commonly used with automated transfer (such as SFTP).

Result data can also be imported from a file that is manually uploaded to DrugPak.  This method can import a file provided through some alternate delivery (for example, a data file retrieved from the lab/MRO's website).  The data file must be in the same format normally used to import result data through the regular, automated method.

To import result data from a local file, the Import Settings for the Laboratory or MRO record in DrugPak must be configured and enabled.

Steps to Perform Result Data Import via Local File

  1. Under the "Imports" page of the Laboratory or MRO record, in the "Import Setup" tab, click the <Choose File> button (bottom-right of the page) to select the file to be imported.

  2. Browse to the file location and select the file by clicking on it, then click the Open button to save the selection.

  3. After selecting a file, DrugPak will queue the file(s) for import.  The Uploads box will display the status of the import action. In the example below, the file status is uploading.
  4. If the process is completed successfully, the upload status will change to Done!, and the background color will be green.
  5. After an import process has been completed, the event will be listed in the Import History at the bottom of the import page.
