Site Matching with Adjudicated Result Data

NOTE: This feature requires a Data Connection subscription option.  For info on how to add a Data Connection to your subscription, see the Subscription Management article.

Overview

Site Matching is a feature of DrugPak's Result Import function that associates the imported Result record with the appropriate Company and Collection Site records in DrugPak based on the imported data.  The "Result Data Import Site Matching" article provides information about the basic operation of Site Matching.

Because adjudicated (MRO reviewed) test result data includes information about Company and Collection Site that is relayed from the laboratory through the MRO, Site Matching for adjudicated test results is stored in a Laboratory record, not in the MRO record in DrugPak.

First Adjudicated Results from a New Laboratory

When adjudicated test result data is imported into DrugPak where the laboratory identified in the data is new to DrugPak, DrugPak will automatically create a new Laboratory Vendor record with the same name as the 'LabCode' in the 'MroVerification' section of the data.  A new Lab Mapping will be created in the MRO vendor record configured with the Data Connection.  In the example below, the new Laboratory record is named "ExampleLab".

The new Laboratory will be listed on DrugPak's Laboratories page.

The new Lab is named the same as the imported 'LabCode'.

The new Laboratory vendor record in DrugPak can be updated, such as modifying the name, adding address and contacts, etc., or the new Laboratory can be merged into an existing Laboratory vendor.

Merging Laboratories

To merge the new Laboratory vendor into an existing record in DrugPak, on the Laboratories page, turn on the checkboxes at the left of the two records, first turning on the checkbox for the Laboratory that will be retained, second turning on the checkbox for the new Laboratory that will be merged into the other record.

In the following example, 'ExampleLab' will be merged into 'Credebat Laboratory'.

After turning on the two checkboxes, click the <Merge Selected> button at the top of the list.

If the Lab Mappings (in the MRO vendor record's Imports page) are reviewed after merging or otherwise making changes to the Laboratory vendor, the Mappings will reflect the updated Laboratory information.

Site Mapping for Company and Collection Site

When a Lab Mapping has been established in the Data Connection settings of an MRO in DrugPak, all Company and Collection Site Mapping is managed on the Imports page of the Laboratory vendor record in DrugPak (and not in the MRO vendor record's Imports page).
